We are overwhelmed by the extraordinary support for TORQUE2024. However, the incredible number of registrations made us reach venue capacity for the dinner and cocktail venues. Therefore, please note that on-site registrations will only guarantee access to the technical sessions. Accesso to side events will be allowed only on condition that someone will cancel the participation, and you will be informed only at the moment of registration. FULL CONFERENCE FEE
The live conference fee includes: conference attendance, conference app, virtual event platform, coffee breaks, lunches, the welcome reception (Tuesday, May 28th), the networking cocktail (thursday,May 30th) and publication of 1 paper in IOP J. Physics – Conference Series .
Also, it is our pleasure to offer to all participants the conference gala dinner (Wednesday, May 29th).

ONLINE CONFERENCE FEE
Unfortunately, we have not reached the minimum number of participants to activate the online conference. TORQUE 2024 will be held in-person only.

ACCOMPANYING PERSONS FEE
The accompanying persons fee includes: the welcome reception (Tuesday, May 28th), the conference gala dinner (Wednesday, May 29th), the networking cocktail (thursday,May 30th) and a private city center tour.

ADDITIONAL PAPER
Each attendee registering with a full conference fee has the possibility of having 1 paper published in IOP J. Physics – Conference Series (provided that the review and publication process if fullfilled correctly). No more than 1 additional paper can be connected to the same registration (within April 15th ), with an additional cost of € 110,00 to cover publication expenses.

Important notes

  • The Salone dei Cinquecento is the worldwide famous hearth of the ancient city of Florence. The room is protected by a severe security protocol that, inter alia, limits the maximum occupancy. Due to this constraint, we regret to say that not all the attendees will be allowed to enter it for the conference grand opening. The ceremony will be anyhow streamed to the conference venue. Entrance to Salone dei Cinquecento will be granted to authorities, invited speakers, EAWE board members, and WES editors. Remaining seats will be assigned equally to Regular Attendees and Students based on the conference registration date. A confirmation email will follow.
  • All fees reported below are included VAT
  • If you choose PayPal you will have a price increase due to PayPal commission which can vary from 3.40% to 5.44% depending on your country.
  • On-site registrations will only be possible with credit card payment
  • All accepted papers (oral and poster) must be presented live in Florence
  • Online registrations will be opened until May 15th (included)

Cancellation policy

  • Any change or cancellation requests must be officially submitted in writing to info@torque2024.eu
  • Up to April 1st , 2024: 20% of the registration fees will be charged
  • From April 2nd to May 2nd, 2024: 50% of the registration fees will be charged
  • From May 3rd to May 15th, 2024: 80% of the registration fees will be charged
  • No refund will be processed for cancellations received from May 16th, 2024
  • No-shows will not be eligible for refunds
